"OUR TINY GARDEN" kindergarden competition 2011

The national competition of kindergardens “Our Tiny Garden” will be organized again after the great cucces of last year's edition at the Hortus Hungaricus 2010 International Horticultural Exhibition and Trade Fair this year.

Each kindergarten is expected to create a tiny garden of plants in a nice big planting bowl presented by our sponsor Tibor Érczes garden plastic manufacturer.There are no other restrictions, kids can freely use their fantasy while planting the garden.

The registration deadline is 20th August 2011, following which our sponsor the DHL Express will deliver the bowl and the needed potting soil from jofold.hu, and pine bark from Tibor Kátai to each kindergarten. The tiny gardens will evaluated by a jury of well-known experts of horticulture at the Hortus Hungaricus 2010 International Horticultural Exhibition and Trade Fair.

The criteria are the following:
- creativity
- proficiency of planting
- overall impression

First of all we would like to thank the work of all participating kindergartens, the result of which are wonderful creations!!! It was a very difficult task for the jury to choose the 10 most beautiful and most creative gardens out of the 35 submitted pieces.
